After that meat pieces are healthy choices but they must chopped in small pieces (bite size) and well cooked. For some children the taste may be found appealing but there are cases where it is seen to be not welcomed that easily. If your baby rejects the meat once, it doesn’t mean s/he will never accept it in later life. Be patient and try some new way. You never know what attracts your baby. So keep trying!

Egg, most of the times, tends to be a probable source of allergies or rushes in toddler. So while dealing with eggs handle your baby with care. The yolk happens to be fine for most of the babies but it’s always better to avoid the white part. Hard-boiling the egg seems safest for the baby. Simply peel off and leave the white part, smashing the yolk part. Let your baby deal with this no matter how messy the process is as there is less chance for choking. If your child is one year old or so it’s high time to introduce egg to him/ her. The babies seem to be like it easily. The taste it new to him/her and it can be time taking. The only thing that can sooth you in this case is that the benefits the baby is going to get is worth all the troubles.

After grains, barley, rice or oats your baby needs to come across wheat. Over-cooked pasta seems a nice change for the baby and there is very less chance of allergy from gluten. Different shapes and colors of pasta will always enlighten you baby’s mood and s/he will chew happily. If your baby doesn’t like one preparation of a specific item then go for something different but don’t lose hope. They tend to like seasoning if the mother used to have it in her diet during pregnancy as it gets passed on through breast milk. Always opting for different taste might solve a lot of problems. Making baby cereal at home is also an option.

Adding fish

Fish is always a sensible option for the child as it contains the fatty acid named “omega-3”. The basic problem with fishes is the bone as it causes choking. Another thing to keep in mind is to avoid the skin of the fish. Steamed fish is healthy but your baby may like the flavor of the grilled or baked fish. Fishes with high mercury level should be avoided.
